About the Community Gallery
The Community Gallery at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge offers a space for local artists and organizations of all backgrounds and skill levels to display their creative talents. The refuge believes in the power of art to connect, inspire, and reflect the unique spirit of Southwest Idaho. Exhibitions are displayed for 3-6 months and artwork can be related to wildlife or explore other themes, as long as it connects to the essence of our community. If you are interested in submitting artwork, please email us at deerflat@fws.gov.
What's Currently on Display: A Quack from the Past
Celebrate former entries in the annual Idaho Junior Duck Stamp art competition. From colored pencil and crayon sketches to paint and collage masterpieces, this exhibition captures the wide range of student art! The exhibition contains a table with art supplies and tips on how to draw a duck for students to craft their own entry for the 2025 competition, due March 1st!

La Galería Comunitaria del Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Deer Flat ofrece un espacio para que artistas y organizaciones locales de todos los orígenes y niveles muestren sus talentos creativos. Creemos que el arte tiene el poder de conectar, inspirar y reflejar el espíritu único del suroeste de Idaho. Las exposiciones se exhiben durante 3 a 6 meses y las obras de arte pueden estar relacionadas con la vida silvestre o explorar otros temas, siempre y cuando estén relacionados con la esencia de nuestra comunidad.
