My work as the energy lead involves developing relationships with companies and other Federal agencies to advise, provide technical expertise, and review Habitat Conservation Plans 10(a)(1)(B) permits, research 10(a)(1)(A) permits, bat mitigation solutions, and Section 7 Section 7
Section 7 Consultation The Endangered Species Act (ESA) directs all Federal agencies to work to conserve endangered and threatened species and to use their authorities to further the purposes of the Act. Section 7 of the Act, called "Interagency Cooperation," is the mechanism by which Federal agencies ensure the actions they take, including those they fund or authorize, do not jeopardize the existence of any listed species.

I am the national recovery lead for the smallest endangered species, the Tumbling Creek Cavesnail (https://www.fws.gov/species/tumbling-creek-cavesnail-antrobia-culveri). I also work directly in the recovery of Missouri's listed bats and cave/karst species and provide technical support throughout the Midwest Region on geospatial and data analyst needs for a wide array of taxonomic groups.
