Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge is issuing firewood cutting permits.  For an individual to be able to cut and collect firewood in the refuge they must have a Special Use Permit (SUP) signed by the refuge manager. SUP Applications are available at the refuge contact station and online. A $10.00 fee is due with each application to cover administrative costs.

Completed application and associated fee can be turned in at the refuge office, submitted by email to dana_schelling@fws.gov, or mailed to the following address:
