What We Do

We serve the conservation community through an array of projects and initiatives.

Train Conservation Professionals - We offer training and professional development on-site at the NCTC, off-site at various locations, and online.

Host Meetings and Events- We offer conservation organizations a venue for hosting meetings and events.

Manage the USFWS Museum and Archives and USFWS Library - We house the USFWS’ collections of historic artifacts, photos, and documents, as well as periodicals and other reference materials. These are available to support student learning as well as conservation professionals and scholars within and outside the Service.

Our Programs

Provide training opportunities for the Service, DOI and other Federal, and non-Federal partners in conservation policies and regulations, applied landscape conservation, leadership and management, partnerships, and communications.

Advance partnerships, recruitment strategies, training programs, and career pathways to green jobs.
