Unworked marine mammal parts

To be legitimately sold as an Alaska Native piece of art or handicraft, marine mammal parts need to be “significantly altered.” Raw or unworked marine mammal parts, like walrus ivory and marine mammal bones, with very limited exceptions, may not be sold.
