A pig approaches an Laysan albatross nest at Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge on Dec. 23, 2022. The image was captured by a trail camera on the Nīhoku area of the refuge. Over 70 Laysan albatross nests were destroyed by pigs within a few days that week.
