This document provides links to state online natural heritage programs and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Ecological Services field offices to help determine whether the area that may be affected by a proposed action may overlap with, or be contained in the area that’s within 0.5 mile of a known northern long-eared bat (NLEB) hibernaculum, a northern long-eared bat staging/swarming area, 3.0 miles of a recorded northern long-eared bat capture or acoustic detection, or 1.5 miles of a known northern long-eared bat roost.
