Southwest Region-Bald Eagle Disturbance Permit Determination Key

The Southwest Region (TX, OK, AZ and NM) of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has created a Bald Eagle Disturbance Take Determination Key to help you determine if your project/activity may disturb nesting bald eagles and whether a permit is recommended to ensure compliance with the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. If the Bald Eagle Disturbance Take Determination Key recommends you apply for a permit, please review the information provided on the USFWS Eagle Management website about eagle disturbance take permits.
