Returning adult salmon in the outside holding ponds that will be spawned.

These fish have returned to Dworshak to be spawned. They have completed their lifecycle by being reared at Dworshak, released into the clearwater enroute to the Pacific, and years later, return as large adult salmon. They make their way into the hatchery ponds via the fish ladder.
