Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative Regional Management Units and Regional Implementation Plans

The Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative (PLCI) is a collaborative effort among natural resource agencies and tribes to reduce threats to Pacific Lamprey and promote the implementation of restoration and conservation measures throughout Alaska, California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. To facilitate the implementation of conservation actions, the geographic range of Pacific Lamprey was divided into 18 Regional Management Units or RMUs (Figure 1). Each RMU includes several 4th level Hydrologic Unit Codes (HUCs) which are used to evaluate the status, threats, and conservation needs of Pacific Lamprey at a finer scale.
