Monarch on whorled milkweed

In addition to providing technical assistance to New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch for restoring wetlands, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program provided funding for monarch butterfly habitat. This monarch is perched on a whorled milkweed, a monarch favorite that's found in the Southwest.
