Mangrove Habitat

Mangroves are a group of trees and shrubs that grow in coastal zones. Many mangrove forests can be recognized by a dense tangle of roots giving the appearance of trees standing on stilts. These unique roots allow the trees to handle the daily rise and fall of tides.
