A Laysan albatross (mōlī) soars over a section of predator exclusion fence on Nihokū at Kīlauea Point National Refuge. Nihokū and Mokolea Point are ideal nesting locations for seabirds because the hills and plateaus within this portion of the refuge rest on the northern coastline where seabirds like this Laysan albatross can easily land and take off.
