Helicopter and Airboat at Tree Drop at Bayou Sauvage Urban NWR

Each year New Orleans' Christmas trees are upcycled to form barriers to erosion in the marsh. A National Guard helicopter drops bundle of trees into open water as an airboat stands by to place them in a wave barrier.
