The map shows saltmarsh sparrow nest sites in 2021 and 2022 in relation to the newly created hummocks, which are composed of varied vegetation. It shows how loyal the sparrows are to their nesting sites and the consideration restoration teams had to avoid placing sediment where saltmarsh sparrows had recently nested.
