Pilot Knob National Wildlife Refuge Seeking Public Comments on Environmental Education and Interpretation

PUXICO, MISSOURI – A 15-day comment period for Pilot Knob National Wildlife Refuge’s (NWR) Draft Compatibility Determination to continue allowing environmental education and interpretation begins on March 23, 2022. This Compatibility Determination evaluates environmental education and interpretation on Pilot Knob NWR to ensure these activities are compatible with the purpose of the refuge.



Copies of the Draft Compatibility Determination are available on-line on the refuge website: http://www.fws.gov/refuge/mingo. Paper copies are available at both the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge office, located at 24279 State Highway 51, Puxico, MO and the Ironton Ozark Regional Library at 402 N. Main, Ironton, MO 63650.
